Zach Johnston is a director and composer from rural Wisconsin. He is half the score composing duo Pep Magic and scored the Oscar-Nominated animated short film, "The Dam Keeper" and all subseqeuent projects for Tonko House, a Bay-area animation studio founded by Pixar veterans Dice Tsutsumi and Robert Kondo. Zach is a former member of the band Phox and created their short films and music videos including their breakout video-EP "Confetti" and "Amor Fati" which premiered at the inaugural Eaux Claires festival. Jenny Slate picked his short "Holiday Talent Show" as the winner of the Studio 360 holiday film competition.
